What data does VinHkE need for reliable calories?
Heart-rate-based calorie estimates need your profile data. Some of it is imported from Karoo and cannot be edited from VinHkE.
Recommended steps
- VinHkE estimates calories from heart rate and needs parameters such as sex, weight, height, and thresholds.
- It also uses references such as VO2max derived from FTP, FCmax, and CTL.
- Data imported from Karoo is not editable; if it is missing or wrong, the estimate suffers.
- Check that your user profile is complete before relying on the calories.
