Lambert submaximal test
Lambert is a submaximal test, not an FTP test. It looks at your cardiovascular response and how it evolves over time.
Recommended steps
- Purpose: observe heart-rate response to a controlled effort and its evolution, not to set FTP directly.
- Follow the prescribed steps steadily; keep cadence consistent and avoid pacing spikes.
- VinApp tracks power and heart rate, plus cadence, heart-rate decoupling, heart-rate recovery, TSS/hrTSS and your RPE after the test.
- Results are shown with history and comparisons so you can see evolution across repetitions under similar conditions.
- VinApp may slightly adjust resistance to hold the intended stimulus. If the signal is poor or you could not follow the steps, results should be read with caution.
- Do not treat a single Lambert result as a diagnosis. Use trends and context, and seek professional advice for medical questions.
