On the trainer you sweat much more because there is no real airflow. A fan can completely change the session.

Recommended steps

  • Use a fan whenever you can.
  • Have a drink ready before starting.
  • Do not compare indoor heart rate with outdoors without considering heat.
  • If heart rate rises a lot, lower intensity.
  • Ventilate the room if possible.
  • After long sessions, replenish fluids and salts if needed.
