When to update FTP

Updating FTP makes sense when your level changes or when workouts stop matching your sensations.
Recommended steps
- Review FTP if workouts are consistently too easy.
- Review FTP if you cannot complete reasonable sessions.
- Update it after a test or a clear training block.
- Do not change FTP every day because of one isolated bad session.
- Consider fatigue, sleep, and stress before touching it.
- Make moderate changes and observe over several workouts.
