Improvement does not depend only on accumulating workouts. Adaptation happens when you combine stimulus and recovery.

Recommended steps

  • Avoid increasing volume and intensity at the same time.
  • Respect rest and easier weeks if the plan includes them.
  • Do not turn every day into a competition.
  • Observe whether your performance improves or whether you only accumulate tiredness.
  • Consistency beats training binges.
  • If in doubt, it is usually better to finish wanting more than to overdo it.
