Trainer power does not match my power meter
Power
It is normal for trainer and power meter not to show exactly the same value. They measure at different points and may have different calibrations.
Recommended steps
- Do not expect perfect watt-by-watt matching.
- Check that both are calibrated if the manufacturer allows it.
- Always use the same source to compare workouts.
- If the difference is small and stable, it is usually not serious.
- If the difference is large, review configuration and batteries.
- Provide exact models if you need help.
