How to fit the group ride into the plan

A group ride can count as a hard session even if it was not in the plan. You need to account for it so you do not overdo the load.
Recommended steps
- Look at the actual ride, not the label you give it.
- If there was a lot of intensity, adjust the next workout.
- Do not add VO2 Max the day after a beating if you are cooked.
- Use the trainer for structure and the group ride for enjoyment when it fits.
- Prioritize the main goal of the week.
- If you race every weekend, adapt the weekday plan.
