The answer depends on the type of tiredness. Sometimes an easy session helps; other times, rest is better.

- If you are muscularly tired but generally well, an easy session may help.
- If you are exhausted, sick, or have accumulated poor sleep, rest.
- Do not force intense sessions when the body clearly does not respond.
- Look at the trend over several days, not only one momentary feeling.
- If the plan becomes unmanageable, adjust load.
- Resting at the right time is also training.
