FTP and zones

Each platform may calculate or store different references. The important thing is to use a coherent FTP in VinApp for training.

Recommended steps

  • Do not change FTP only because another platform gives a different number.
  • Look where each value comes from: test, eFTP, estimate, or manual data.
  • Use an FTP that lets you complete demanding but realistic workouts.
  • If workouts are impossible, it is probably high.
  • If everything is too easy for weeks, it may be low.
  • Adjust gradually and observe several sessions.
