What is Pit Board and what does it need to work?
Pit Board is the real-time link with whoever supports you on the road. It lets you receive and answer messages from Karoo.
Recommended steps
- Pit Board uses a QR code and a unique ID; the nick is optional.
- Messages arrive in real time and need an internet connection.
- You can reply with up to 3 preset answers without stopping.
- There are sound notifications when a message arrives.
- Message history is deleted after a few days.
- On K3, Pit Board can use wifi or Companion over Bluetooth every 5 minutes; on K2 only wifi or GSM.
- Pit Board requires a full-screen graph field.
