Karoo wifi turns off when starting an activity
On Karoo, wifi turns off when you start an activity. Sometimes you have to turn it back on manually.
Recommended steps
- This is expected behaviour: wifi is switched off when the activity starts.
- If you need a connection during the ride, turn it back on manually when needed.
- This affects features that rely on the internet, such as Pit Board on K2 (wifi or GSM).
- On K3, Pit Board can use Companion over Bluetooth every 5 minutes in addition to wifi.
- If messages do not arrive, check whether wifi is still active.
